Despite the wet fields, a good group of individuals and families committed to getting and staying fit turned out for our very first Fit Family Boot Camp.  Boy, did we give them a great workout!  Unfortunately, I won’t be able to disclose the type of exercises and activities we did on this blog.  You”ll just have to find out for yourself! 🙂 Our next Fit Family Boot Camp is tentatively scheduled for Saturday October 9 at San Pedro Park from 8:00-9:00am.  Again, the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-12.  We have a lot of fun and engaging activities planned!  Don’t miss out! Save the date!

If this will be your first time doing a boot camp, don’t feel intimidated!   We train individuals of all ages and fitness levels, so we’ll be able to make modifications of exercises for you.  Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to see how exercising can be a blast when others who have the same goals of living happier and healthier, are exercising right along with you.  On the other hand, if you’re already an athlete or fitness aficionado, participating in our boot camp will provide an excellent opportunity for you to “kick it up a notch.”

Also, a special thank you to Lisa and Belinda from Clark Construction.  Lisa and her friends graciously included us as part of her Love Life day, celebrating her third anniversary of being cancer-free.  Plus, a BIG thank you to everyone else for your efforts and support!  You are the reason our first Fit Family Boot Camp was a success!  Hope to see you all Saturday Oct. 9!

**Please note that the location for next Boot Camp (San Pedro Park) is tentative.  We will keep you updated on the final location once we secure our reservation.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (210) 508-9840 or email me at flexible.fitness@yahoo.com.**

    Juanita,

I’m so happy you and your son enjoyed the boot camp. As a trainer, it really makes my day when I see parents taking an interest in not only their health, but the health of their kids too. That’s why I’m hoping that the new price point (for kids) will be more affordable for families and in turn, encourage parents to bring their kids along. By the way, I think you will really like the next boot camp we have scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9. We are planning to include all the other fun activities that we weren’t able to do last weekend due to the wet fields! Looking forward to seeing you guys there! 🙂 As always, thank you for your support!

    Josh
